Video Making Contest
The QMH Statistics Club is excited to announce a Video Making Contest as part of StatQuest – January 2025, in memory of professor Dr. Taslim Sazzad Mallick. Students are invited to showcase their creativity and knowledge by making videos on the topic: “Use of Statistics in Machine Learning and Data Science”.
Rules and Guidelines:
- Video Duration: Maximum 7 minutes.
- Team Composition: Teams can have a maximum of 4 members.
- Eligibility: Participants must be from Batch 68 to 73 of the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka.
- Submission Process:
- Submit your video as a Google Drive link to [email protected]
- Email Subject: “Video StatQuest 2025”.
- Email Body: Include the video title and team details
- Full Names
- Batch Numbers
- Roll Numbers
- Email Addresses.

Evaluation and Prizes:
- Entries will be judged based on creativity, relevance to the topic, and the quality of the video.
- Winners will receive certificates and recognition from the QMH Statistics Club.

Presentation Competition
The QMH Statistics Club is pleased to announce the Presentation as part of StatQuest – January 2025, held in memory of professor Dr. Taslim Sazzad Mallick.
Rules and Guidelines:
- Slides: Maximum of 20 slides, including the title, team introduction (FullNames, Batch Numbers, Roll Numbers), and a thank-you slide.
- Team Size: Each team may consist of up to 3 members.
- Topic Limitation: Teams may present on only one topic from the list below.
- Presentation Duration: Maximum 10 minutes per team.
- Eligibility: Participants must belong to Batch 71 to 73 of the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka.
- Submission: Slides must be in .pptx or .ppt format and submitted to [email protected] before the deadline.
- Email Format:
- Subject line: “Presentation StatQuest 2025”
- Include the presentation title in the body of the email.

Literature Review Competition
The QMH Statistics Club is pleased to announce the Literature Review Competition, a part of StatQuest – January 2025. This competition is open to students of Batch 68 to 70 of the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka.
Competition Details
- Submission Format: PDF
- Submission Email: [email protected]
- Subject of Email: “Literature Review StatQuest 2025”
- Email Body: Include the title and team details (Full Names, Batch Numbers, Roll Numbers, Mobile Numbers, and Email Addresses).
Rules and Guidelines
- The literature review must not exceed 2000 words.
- A team can have a maximum of 3 members.
- The title of the literature review and team introduction must appear on the cover page.
- The plagiarism level must not exceed 20%.
- The referencing of the literature review should be in standard style.
- The document must follow these formatting rules:
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12
- Line Spacing:15
- Margins: 1 inch on all sides
- Participants must be from Batch 68 to 70 of the Department of Statistics, University of Dhaka.

- Symptoms of anxiety and depression
- Care seeking for symptoms of anxiety and depression
- Treatment for anxiety and depression
- Infant and child mortality
Note: The winners will ger certificates and recognition from QMH Statistics Club and they have to present their literature review as a presentation.
